Thousands of running Santa Clauses in Las Vegas for charity

On Saturday, December 2, 2017, thousands of running Santas took to the streets of Las Vegas. They took part in the Santa Run in the gambling town. This is an annual run held to raise funds for a good cause. The run was attended by a large number of adults as well as children. Many people came to watch the Santas run.

Santa Run for Opportunity Village

The Santa Run in Las Vegas benefits the charity Opportunity Village. This ‘charity’ is dedicated to the mentally challenged. The entire amount raised by the run will be donated to this charity.

In a lot of other countries like The Netherlands, Santa Runs are also held. On December 15, anyone who wants to run around in a Santa suit for a good cause can do so in Haarlem. On December 22, Haarlem will host a Santa Run. The Santa Run in Haarlem benefits the charities Weekend Academy, Friends of the Spaarne Gasthuis, and Toy Bank Haarlem. The Dordrecht Santa Run benefits the charities Spieren Voor Spieren and the High Five Foundation.
