The children of Groningen’s primary school De Starter have raised a significant amount of money for children in Burkina Faso. Not only do they sell art, pancakes, sandwiches, and bracelets, but they also run their own casino. /p> h2> Fundraising for a good cause
De Starter is a Groningen public primary school that organizes a major project every two years. During this project, funds are raised for a worthy cause. The school accomplishes this by bringing together a wide range of subjects and competencies, including math, world cultures, and philosophy. As a result, the project is not only beneficial to a good cause, but also educational for the children. /p> /p> p> This year’s school funds were donated to the Kaamba Neere Foundation. This foundation assists children in Burkina Faso in finding a good school and obtaining a diploma, allowing them to advance in life. The foundation has a significant advantage in that all funds go directly to the children. As a result, the children of De Starter Primary School have actively committed themselves to the children of Burkina Faso and no one else.
When the casino, department store, and restaurant closed for the afternoon, the school presented the Kaamba Neere Foundation with a check for no less than 13,000 euros. The project, which included a genuine casino, had been a huge success.
All of the money raised by children for children in Burkina Faso is invested directly in education in the African country. The children of primary school De Starter have ensured that more children in Burkina Faso, Africa, can attend school by running their own casino, department store, and restaurant for a few hours.
